Hunter Legal is thrilled to welcome our 2025 Summer Student, John (Jack) Haddad.
With a strong background in Human Resources and a passion for Labour and Employment Law, Jack brings valuable insight and energy to our practice. Jack is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor, where he specialized in Human Resources and completed a thesis on workplace bullying in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
As a law student at the University of Toronto, Jack has gained hands-on experience as a caseworker in the Employment Law and Academic Appeals division of Downtown Legal Services. He has also taken part in the trial advocacy program, civil motions workshop, and Upper Year Moot, further building his advocacy skills. When he’s not in class, he’s performing and writing for the law school’s sketch comedy show, Law Follies.
Outside of work, you might find Jack wandering Kensington Market, cheering for the Blue Jays at the Skydome, or enjoying a stroll on the Toronto Islands.
We are excited to have Jack with us this summer. Please join us in welcoming him to the Hunter Legal team!
