I graduated from Queen’s University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007.  I have over 15 years of experience as a lawyer both in private practice and as an in-house counsel. I spent over 10 years working as a prosecutor for two different professional regulatory bodies, prosecuting professional discipline cases for the Law Society of Ontario and for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. As a prosecutor, I have litigated a wide variety of cases including both professional misconduct and capacity related matters before disciplinary tribunals and the Divisional Court. In my prosecutorial roles, I also offered strategic advice and direction during the regulatory investigative process.

I have also spent time in private practice. After many years in house, I drew on my advocacy, litigation, regulatory, and administrative law experience when I joined a labour and employment boutique, advising both private sector and public sector clients on labour, employment, and human rights matters. More recently, I am thrilled to be continuing my labour, employment, and human rights practice at Hunter Legal LLP.

I am told that I bring thoughtfulness, preparedness, commitment, and care to my work. I enjoy learning about the intricacies of different workplaces and applying my diverse legal experience to new legal challenges. I look forward to collaborating with you and your team.
