I first joined the firm as a summer student in 2021. Labour and employment law is more than just work for me- it is a passion that I am excited to pursue. I am eager to help employers with every issue that arises in the workplace, both big and small. I enjoy drafting employment agreements and policies, engaging in grievance mediation and arbitration, and staying up to date on the most recent Human Rights Tribunal decisions.
While I enjoy working in every aspect of labour and employment law, my personal favourite aspects of the field are wrongful termination disputes and discipline grievances.
I graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2022, and hold a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. During my time at law school, I was part of an Asper Centre working group on carding and immigrant detention centres. I was co-president of the Jewish Law Students’ Association. I spent a year as a student caseworker in the refugee and immigration division of Downtown Legal Services. I have worked on two major pieces of constitutional litigation: At the Federal Court of Appeal, I worked on Canadian Council for Refugees v Canada, and on Toronto (City) v Ontario (Attorney General) at the Supreme Court of Canada.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading Jane Austen novels, doing crosswords, and spending time with my friends and family.
