A New Name for a New Chapter

As they say, the only constant is change. September marks the start of a new year for many. It is also a time of transition for us. Effective August 1, 2024, Hunter Liberatore Law LLP became Hunter Legal LLP. Janine Liberatore is continuing her labour and employment practice, teaming up with Loreta Zubas and Ted Flett.  Together, they have become Zubas Flett Liberatore LLP.  We wish Janine, our colleague Grace Lu, and the ZFL team all the best for their new venture.

The team at Hunter Legal LLP is ready for our next chapter. We congratulate Nisha Dhanoa for becoming a partner in the firm and welcome back Rebecka Arraial from her European adventures to officially start her career as a newly minted lawyer. Our summer student, Angela Shi, has returned to the University of Toronto for her third year of law school. We look forward to her return in 2025 to complete her articling year. The firm is also excited to unveil our new website at www.hunterlegal.ca.

Otherwise, everything is business as usual – which, in the world of labour and employment law, is never all that usual.  To keep you updated on the new and interesting developments, we are continuing the publication of our newsletter. We can be contacted using the same email and contact details if you need to reach us.  We await with pleasure whatever happens next.
